A New Medical Building For Erin
September 1st, 2009The East Wellington Family Health Team (EWFHT) is now in negotiations with a selected Developer to build a new medical building in Erin. The new building is planned to house a 9,000 square foot EWFHT Clinic as well as other healthcare related services. The new EWFHT Clinic is expected to be ready in 2010 and will support the EWFHT Team including an increase in the number of Family Physicians from 3 to 6, additional Allied Health Professionals as well as provide space for the administrative staff. A full announcement will be forthcoming when negotiations are completed with the Developer and approval has been received from the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. The property of the current clinic is being put on the commercial real estate market this week by the owners. It is our intention that medical services will continue to be provided by the EWFHT at the current site until the new medical building is operational.
