Caring for a Loved one with a Mental Health Issue
If you have a family or friend who is suffering from anxiety, depression and other mental health issues, this two-hour workshop is for you. Friends and family are an essential element to managing and recovering from mental health issues. However, it can be challenging to know how best to help a loved one.
This workshop will provide education on the symptoms of anxiety and depression and discuss how best to support your loved one while also taking care of yourself. This workshop will also provide an opportunity to share your experiences and connect with others that understand what you are going through.

In this workshop you will learn healthy eating and lifestyle strategies to help manage high cholesterol and/or high blood pressure. We will review heart disease risk factors, what the cholesterol numbers mean, as well as discuss different types of fats and how they may impact your cholesterol profile. We will discuss practical suggestions for eating to improve your heart health.
