Feeding Your Baby - Introducing Solid Food
Join our Registered Dietitian for a this 1-hour information session, intended to help parents with babies 2-6 months old make the transition to solid foods. Parents will have a chance to ask questions and will be provided with helpful resources. Physician referral not required.
Topics discussed include:
- When and how to introduce solids and progress textures
- Introducing common allergens
- What foods to introduce first
- Importance of iron in the early years
- Feeding relationship
- Meal ideas and making your own baby food
- Food safety
This workshop is offered online and is FREE OF CHARGE, open to patients and community residents.
Please register to be provided with a link and instructions to join this webinar. You will need access to a computer, tablet or smart phone but you do not need a camera. You will need an email address for registration and to access the webinar.
